I Want!

Recently I purchased a container to house my rolls of wrapping paper. Sadly it was not tall enough :( with sad face I returned said container. Then my wonderful husband sent me an email with this picture to make me smile. Yes this is the next project on his to-do list! The magic of wire and nails!

Christmas Program

On the Tuesday before Christmas Sebastian had his school's Christmas Program. The kids were too cute singing and "dancing" to a selection of songs that told the Christmas story.  Here are a short selection of pictures form the day.
Here are the proud brothers pre-show
 My little star!
 A group shot
The first 2 rows would be the kids in Sebastian's class... six down on the right would be one of his best friends, the other is the boy diagonally in front of him.

Sebastian and Santa

Sebastian got to see Santa at school. The weekend before this event we had sat down to write his letter to said man in red. As you look at the proofs of his pictures with Santa take note of Sebastian teaching Santa how to shoot a web from his wrist like Spider-man!

Construction

This past weekend the boys and I made a gingerbread house... well really Vince ate frosting and Sebastian "read" the construction schedule (i.e.the instructions) to me. Vince would not sit for a picture of our final product.

Joy for Beginners

A novel I recently read. The following quotes rang so true to me. Enjoy:
They had stayed friends over the years, even as their children had gone to different elementary schools. They counted on each other to hold memories and identities, to remember birthdays and Mother's Days when husbands or children might forget, to be the extra backbone when a hard parenting decision had to be made. The wife's wife, they had called each other jokingly, the third support in the three-legged stool that is the unseen structure of many marriages.

The other excerpt from the book:
"They said- Adults need to have fun so children will want to grow up."
