Sebastian's first trip to Amish Country

Over the weekend, Sebastian had his first out of town trip with the Hooch-Haches. We picked up Tia Erin on Saturday morning and headed up to Lancaster. With all the outlets, we just HAD to do some shopping:) So, Sebastian got his Christmas clothes and PJ's and some other comfy winter clothes. I also found his Halloween costume for next year... I know what you are thinking, but I could not pass up this deal!!! Sebastian will be Mickey Mouse:) After shopping we went to dinner at El Serranos- excellent Peruvian cuisine!!! The evening was wrapped up watching a movie and with Tia Stephanie knitting Sebastian a hat, attempt #1. Turned out too big so she knocked it out in a couple of hours on Sunday morning. Of course no trip to Lancaster would be complete without going Undercover Amish. This is were we get in the car and drive around in pursuit of the Amish with Starbucks in hand. After that we gassed up and headed home.

A sneak peak to next year. The ears will stand up better since his head will fill out better....

Modeling the hat to mark where the ear flaps should go

All tuckered out and ready to go home and see daddy

A night with Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop

On Friday we had the pleasure of Mom-mom and Pop-pop's company for dinner:) Sebastian really loved the time with his grandparents. Here are some pics:

Three generations of Todd men

9 months old!!!!

I am still pinching myself!! Can my baby really be 9 months old!!!! On Monday we went for his 9 month check-up. He got a clean bill of health:) Here are his stats:
Height: 31 inches
Weight: 27 lbs.
Head circumfrance: 19 inches

He is in the 95% and above percentile for all 3 categories!! The Dr. said he was not concerned about the weight because of his height and body frame. He asked how tall Eddie was... "6 feet, but my dad is 6'3" and Eddie's uncle is like 6'7" and we have cousines that range in the 6'3"-6'5" " I replied. Dr said "Mommy, be prepared to have to look up to your son, he is going to be tall!"

Sebastian got his flu shot and his finger pricked for anemia screening. He did so well with both, he is such a trooper!!!

Here are some pics of Sebastian and Napoleon. FYI- He LOVES Napoleon. Napoleon can make him laugh at the drop of a hat, he does not have to do anything, just be there:)

One down...

...one to go! In my family we grew up with these felt Christmas Stockings that my mom made for us. When my niece was born, my mom started one that I ended up finishing.
Cecilia's Stocking:

With Christmas getting closer and closer I started working on Sebastian's stockings (yes more than one- one for Guita's house and one for our own) After a month of work I have finished the first.
Sebastian's stocking #1:

After putting the finishing touches on #1 I went straight to work on #2 (much harder, more satin stitches which take forever)! My goal is to complete #2 by the 6th of December!!!

The fastest diet ever!!!

I wish it were that simple!!! Go to the "Beauty Parlor" and a couple of hours later- TADA!!!!

Before- this is an older picture, but a good representation of the sate of his figure.

After- he is actually very happy about the results... I fell asleep with him curled up next to me purring the night away:)

We voted, did you?

One major positive to living in the country and not having to work outside the home and commute... NO LINES!!!! It took longer to get the stroller out, situate Sebastian in it, and maneuver through the parking lot, then it did to check in and vote!!!! We did our civic duty, have you?

Trip to Atlanta

My grandfather was celebrating his 80th bday... which was celebrated in pure Zabala style!! True to Tia Lorraine's planning- there was a theme and color coordinated theme- Masquerade with Wine and Navy Blue as the dress attire. It was really nice being able to visit with family and friends. While in Atl. we got to visit Vicki, Steve, John, and Joanie (plus Joanie's mom and brother). We had a wonderful dinner at John and Joanie's beautiful new home!!! Steve was able to celebrate with Redskins fans, their victory :) Sadly my batteries died and I was unable to get pics of our dinner:( Below are the pics of our trip.
